We recently stayed at Queen Alexandra House for a family reunion and it was perfect. The location was great, allowing us to easily explore the area. The house itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was lovely. We especially enjoyed the annexe with the ping pong table, which provided hours of entertainment for everyone. The owner was also very helpful when we had trouble with the check-in system. it was a pleasant and memorable stay.
We do recommend this hotel.

Clean building, comfy beds, large TV, and WiFi were all great. Convenient check-in and check-out with a lock-box. Good-sized rooms for families, and the location was excellent near two pubs. Surprisingly quiet despite being on a main road. Short walk to town center for shopping.

Our recent stay at Queen Alexandra House was perfect in every way. The location was ideal, with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. The house itself was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing us with a great night's sleep. We also enjoyed the games room, where we had a blast playing table tennis with my parents, who are in their 80s. The nearby breakfast place, Scott and Wilson, was a favorite of ours, and we loved the fact that the property was dog-friendly. we had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to book Queen Alexandra House again in the future.
Although our stay was fantastic overall, there were a few minor hiccups. The parking situation was a bit challenging due to limited spaces on the street, especially since we had two cars.

Good sized rooms, plenty of space for a family. Excellent location near two pubs. Surprisingly quiet in the house. Short walk to town centre. Comfortable beds and clean property. Lovely courtyard for using gas barbecue. Nicely furnished. Games room was a bonus.

The hotel had a lovely, cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The decoration was tasteful and had a touch of elegance. The common areas were well-maintained and provided comfortable seating for senior guests. It was easy to navigate around the hotel, making it accessible for elderly individuals like myself.
It would have been even better if there were more staff on hand to assist with any needs or questions.

Absolutely great value for money and the room was fantastic. The location was perfect, with two nearby pubs and just a short walk to the town center. The staff treated us wonderfully, making us feel right at home.
Breakfast selection could use some improvement.
